환경을 위해 함께하는 우리는 어떤 활동을 하고 있을까요?
부산 해변가 비치 코밍!
환경 보호에 대한 열정을 가진 다양한 국적의 사람들이 모여 아름다운 부산 해변을 더욱 깨끗하게 만들기 위해 비치코밍 활동을 진행했습니다.
이번 활동은 해운대 해수욕장에서 시작하여 민락수변공원까지 이어지는 해변을 따라 진행되었으며, 참여자들은 쓰레기를 주우면서 문화 교환도 하는 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다.
As a diverse group of people who all share a passion for protecting our environment, we came together to make our Busan beaches cleaner!
We started off from Haeundae Beach and walked along the coast to Millak Waterside Park. We enjoyed cleaning, picking up trash, and participating in cultural exchange.

event_note 어떤 계기로 이 활동을 기획하게 되셨나요?
부산대 국제학부 학생으로써, 저희는 항상 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 사람들을 접합니다. 서로 다른 언어와 배경을 갖고 있지만 환경을 생각하고 미래 지향적으로 생각하는 공통된 가치를 갖고 있다는 점을 바탕으로 비치코밍 활동을 기획하게 되었습니다.
단순히 쓰레기를 줍는 행위를 넘어 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 사람들이 함께 참여하며 소통하는 의미 있는 시간을 만들고자 했습니다.
Why did you organize this event?
As students of the Global Studies Department at Pusan National University, we always come into contact with people from diverse backgrounds. Despite differences in language and culture, we had one thing in common, being environmentally conscious. We wanted to build upon this common value.
We wanted to encourage cultural exchange and conversations while cleaning our beaches!

부산에 플로깅 활동들은 많지만, 외국인들이 한국인과 함께 대화를 하며 참여하기는 힘들다는 점이 있었습니다.
While Busan has quite a few plogging events, we felt there was a lack of programs where foreigners and Koreans could come together and work together to improve the community.

이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 영어와 한국어로 이번 활동을 홍보하도록 하였고, 활동 자체를 영어 기반으로 진행하였습니다.
추가로 영어 자료, 네이버 지도를 만들어 누구든 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 노력하였습니다.
To encourage diverse participants, we promoted the event in both English and Korean, and we organized the event in English.
Additionally, we created English Materials and a Naver map so that anyone could participate.

날씨가 많이 더웠고 각자의 걷는 속도가 달라 흩어짐이 있었습니다. 또한 길을 헷갈려한 참여자도 있었습니다.
The hot weather and different walking speeds led to the group being scattered. Also, some people got slightly lost.
event_note 더 효과적인 활동을 위해 필요한 것은 무엇일까요?
네이버 지도로 각 체크포인트를 만드는 것 뿐 만 아니라 길 자체를 지정하고 가이드를 더 추가하면 더 수월한 활동이 될 것으로 기대합니다.
Specifying which road to take instead of just creating checkpoints and having more guides would further improve future projects.
